Building an Artist Community – Valley Arts District– When we renovated the historic 1902 Firehouse on Forest Street in the Valley, we had no idea that six extremely talented artists would move in and collaborate with ValleyArts, Inc., (the community arts organization that we launched in 2005) to open the Firehouse Gallery that has already had four blockbuster exhibitions and launch the Hat City Streets Festival last June.
