As many of you heard, your favorite artist collective known as ORNG Ink has moved out of Ironworks building and into two new spaces in the Valley Arts District; the visual art department is now housed in the Kelli Copeland Creative Co-op and the music department amongst others have moved into The Box Company as the Era Artist Collective, both located on S Jefferson Street.
The visual arts department is Mike Malbrough, Krystle Lemonias, Stephen Batiz, Naeema Campbell, and Khari Ricks. Artists I have known for a long time and I expect beautiful works bringing life and actual activity to the creative co-op space.
The music department proved to be too much for the residential space, Sykez, Ywn, and Juice moved into the Box Company along with photographers Briana Heart, Nate Griffin and Tyree Huey. Uber talented artist Vlad is also there with painter Amonnie Nicholas, event promoter Marco Dorce and myself round out as the new Era Artist Collective.
Stay tuned as we continue to engage, participate and uplift the community with arts education, programming, events, mentorships and creative collaborations!
