How do we take our frustration and love for our city and get active in making positive changes in our community? As a part of Gun Violence Awareness month, Not Orange Inc, HANDS Inc, the University of Orange, and ValleyArts, continue the conversation about violence in our community and how we as citizens can heal and take concrete steps to make Orange a Just and Safe city for all its residents.
We will hear from youth in the community concerning things they would like to see change and happen. Also, we will pass out information about ways Orange citizens can get involved and activities for our youth to be involved in this Summer. If you know of any activities happening in or around Orange that is free or low cost, please reach out to us so that we can distribute this to our attendees on the 14th.
This event is in conjunction with the Considering Harm exhibit showing at the Keli Copeland Creative Lofts – 400 South Jefferson St, Orange, NJ 07050 from June 2nd to the 29th.
This event is also a part of the Just and Safe Orange Series organized by RADICAL: Orange.
