#TheCommunityIssue Cover: Rick Hauser’s “Hat City”, a part of the Underfoot Photography Series

I admired the works of Rick Hauser when it was on display at Hat City Kitchen. A part of the orbiting gallery, powered by ValleyArts, his photography series, Underfoot featured manhole covers around New Jersey, and New York City. When I was thinking about the next issue of MASCONSUMPTION, that was focusing on the community, the cover of “Hat City” seemed perfect.
