It’s that time again at Hat City Kitchen, celebrate with us at the only Mardi Gras party that matters on Fat Tuesday, February 17th.
Live performance by Juke Joint Johnny, he played the Hat City stage and is just as excited as we are to have him back.
First of all I was Raised in Orange, On Bradford St. Between Washington and Alden. Went to St. John’s grammar on White st. and attended Orange high. my High school Sweetheart Was a “Valley girl” and I took the #20 bus Crosstown to “Hangout” on Tremont and Valley St. Countless Times. So I was very excited to Play at Hat City. We had a great Night our first time, the staff treated us very well and were so helpful. Our soundman was Laid back and very Professional, which is not always the case when a venue has a large number of bands revolving through playing different styles etc. The Best part though was the audience, Hip, savvy and focused on the music We’ve been lucky this year as we’ve been touring the mid-atlantic and have found venues with great Audiences who get what we’re doing, an Acoustic Blues/swing/ragtime multi-instrumental trio with Original and classic finger licking material.
