New Moon Reading: Start Down by Eleanor Burgess

unnamedAt Luna Stage this month for the New Moon Reading series, Eleanor Burgess’ Start Down looks at the realities of current economic trends. It is funny and interesting take on it:

A San Francisco programmer latches onto an idea for a startup that will automate some of the work teachers do in a classroom. But as the idea begins to take off, it becomes clear that his new company may threaten his fiancee’s job. Start Down takes a fresh and funny look at recent economic trends and how they hit home.

There will be a talkback with the playwright following the reading. No reservation necessary, $5 suggested donation. http://www.lunastage.org
