I think that this year’s halloween was definitley one that most people were excited about. I hadn’t realized that for the last couple years, the weather has prevented us from celebrating the holiday. The Hat City staff decided that since they were going to be working all weekend, we are going to make the most out of it, and have as much fun as we can.
Thursday night was a little different for Halloween day, October 31st. Usually we have Project Groove hosted by the J.T. Project, but this week we opened with them, and then a hip hop band performed followed by a dance party with entertainment provided by a d.j. This was a night with more of a younger crowd, and it was so much fun to see everyone’s costumes. I was working so I was not able to get pictures of some of my favorites… I was coming from my internship so I was not able to be Freddy Kreuger, I opted for bunny ears. Brittany was Black Swan, Deanna came by and was a character from Nightmare Before Christmas, and Phillipe was Lex Luther.
Friday night was the second Halloween party, and it was just as much fun as the first. Emotional Rex played their annual Halloween show, and gave out costume trophies and really brought it with their Halloween decorations. Pat Morissy came dressed as Ozzy Osbourne and performed on stage with them with his famous harmonica. It was awesome. Deanna, a bartender and musician at Hat City Kitchen won a trophy for her adorable costume as a fairy, complete with the pink wig. It was a lot a of fun.
I NEED to see Pat’s costume!!! I know someone has a picture they’re willing to share🙂
