Yesterday, the Valley got a special treat for this month’s Valley Arts’ artist salon. Reg E Gaines, performed spoken word at Hat City Kitchen. Best known for his works, Bring in da Noise, Bring in da Funk. He performed for almost an hour and delighted us all. He touched all of us with his seemingly effortless technique and talked about the origins of Hip Hop and the state of society today. It was both enlightening and entertaining. I hope he enjoyed his time in the Valley and comes again.
