I am proud to announce the newest exhibit in the Hat City Kitchen gallery. The third show in the dining room, following Catfish Friday’s arts collective will be making it’s debut this weekend! This is a huge opportunity for the emerging and resident artists in their careers.

We are truly excited and proud and feel this is a big opportunity for the artists!! Curated by Laura Campbell.

We are celebrating by having an opening reception at Hat City Kitchen this Monday, October 28th at 7:00pm. Food & drinks will be served!

Oh-em-gee! That is how I feel when I think about how proud I am of Marco Dorce, a friend and frequent collaborator. He has worked so hard since I’ve met him, almost two years ago, to grow as a filmmaker and make great films. The Exit, is awesome. It is captivating, and has you on the edge of your seat as far as suspense is concerned. You are entertained and you fell a great deal of emotion and depth. I do not want to give away too much, I have seen director’s cuts and the first premiere here in the Valley at Hat City Kitchen.

Here’s the description:

A story of a hitman hired by the government. Having executed two innocent people, he looks for an exit after his feelings and conscience fully surface.

The Exit Releases at Hat City Kitchen!

Last week, talented director and filmmaker Marco Dorce released his latest short film, The Exit at Hat City Kitchen. Luckily I was able to get a director’s cut being that our desks are 10 feet away…and the second time I saw it at the screening, I was equally impressed. The short has a little bit of everything, but most of all suspense! My apt. and the Valley really looks good in the film too! We showed a preview of the film opening the Portrait of a Lady Runway Show. The story follows a man who becomes an assasin after he is released from prison and ponders how people shall make their “exit”. That’s all I want to say! I will post the link to the short film as soon as possible!

Last week filmmaker Marco Dorce and I have joined forces to make magic!

The day after filming his latest short film, 86 Charlie we got to work on the zineTAKEOVER promo shoot and video. I do not want to give too much away, but this was awesome. I know I say that every shoot is my favorite, but as of right this second, it is definitely my favorite. We pushed it. Creativity. Shelly G. is great to work with. She is not only gorgeous, but professional and knows how to model. She knows how to get a better shot and has input in everything. Love when shoots are a team effort and we all come up with better ways to make things work.
