Hat City Kitchen is the place where things happen! Relationships are born and bands are formed. Tess Rose, one of the beautiful models for Portrait of a Lady and bartender at Hat City Kitchen is now in a band! She is lending her vocals to folk band, Brother Valiant.

So far, everyone is in love with the band, and believe that she is the perfect fit. The other musicians in the band, which plays varying instruments including, rhythm guitar, tenor banjo, madelin, violin and more. They are such talents and always sound amazing. No matter the venue, or if they are missing a few members. They have been booking gigs, and performing EVERYWHERE! They rocked the house for ORNG Ink’s Inkalicious Block Party. Yup, 12 days. Portrait of a Lady will be debuting in only 12 days. I can not believe how fast time is flying. It’s like, bye bye summer. I hope everyone else has been enjoying the summer, hitting the beach, or went out of town. I’ve been working hard on the fashion issue and the runway show, and shoots, and working. I guess I have been more busy than anything. But I’ve recently been called a “workaholic” so I guess there is no better way to spend my summer. I am so proud of this project and I can not wait for you to see!

I always have so much going on. Never ending projects because of my many interests. Fashion being one of them! I try to do a fashion show every summer, and this year we are doing it big! I have called out to fashion bloggers, stylists, and more to contribute to the issue with all kinds of diverse fashion and style stories. We have also formed the most dynamic creative team (including Laura Campbell, Briana Heart, Kat Dolly and more!) to tackle the fashion show happening at ORNG Ink’s annual art block party, Inkalicious! The show ties in with current Pat ‘n’ Kat style projects, the summer editorial and masConsumption etsy shop. There is so much going on, I want to burst with more details…but you gotta just be patient and stay tuned. The fashion show and summer 2013 debut is happening Saturday, August 10 at ORNG Ink!
