Thursday night was a little different for Halloween day, October 31st. Usually we have Project Groove hosted by the J.T. Project, but this week we opened with them, and then a hip hop band performed followed by a dance party with entertainment provided by a d.j. This was a night with more of a younger crowd, and it was so much fun to see everyone’s costumes. I was working so I was not able to get pictures of some of my favorites… I was coming from my internship so I was not able to be Freddy Kreuger, I opted for bunny ears. Brittany was Black Swan, Deanna came by and was a character from Nightmare Before Christmas, and Phillipe was Lex Luther.

Friday night was the second Halloween party, and it was just as much fun as the first. Emotional Rex played their annual Halloween show, and gave out costume trophies and really brought it with their Halloween decorations. Pat Morissy came dressed as Ozzy Osbourne and performed on stage with them with his famous harmonica. It was awesome. Deanna, a bartender and musician at Hat City Kitchen won a trophy for her adorable costume as a fairy, complete with the pink wig. It was a lot a of fun.

So those of you in the Valley who have nothing to do Thursday for Halloween, come by Hat City Kitchen after 11:00pm for a kind of underground halloween bash. Come dressed up as something, and get wasted with the cool staff including Tess Rose and Curran Burach of Brother Valiant and filmmaker Marco Dorce….
