The Exit Debuts in NYC this Saturday night!

Oh-em-gee! That is how I feel when I think about how proud I am of Marco Dorce, a friend and frequent collaborator. He has worked so hard since I’ve met him, almost two years ago, to grow as a filmmaker and make great films. The Exit, is awesome. It is captivating, and has you on the edge of your seat as far as suspense is concerned. You are entertained and you fell a great deal of emotion and depth. I do not want to give away too much, I have seen director’s cuts and the first premiere here in the Valley at Hat City Kitchen.

Here’s the description:

A story of a hitman hired by the government. Having executed two innocent people, he looks for an exit after his feelings and conscience fully surface.

Join us at Kilmat Theatre, this Saturday at 7:30p.m.

Last week filmmaker Marco Dorce and I have joined forces to make magic!

The day after filming his latest short film, 86 Charlie we got to work on the zineTAKEOVER promo shoot and video. I do not want to give too much away, but this was awesome. I know I say that every shoot is my favorite, but as of right this second, it is definitely my favorite. We pushed it. Creativity. Shelly G. is great to work with. She is not only gorgeous, but professional and knows how to model. She knows how to get a better shot and has input in everything. Love when shoots are a team effort and we all come up with better ways to make things work.

WHAT WE LOVE is a new blog feature that give the masConsumption bloggers and team a place to tell readers and fans the things we are ‘digging’ at the moment. Its a fun way to learn new songs, books, blogs, etc. There is so much going on the internet, so many blogs, who can keep up? Its great to get good referrals from other like-minded individuals or just being exposed to something new. Who knows what is the next place you find inspiration?

Right now, the song that picks me up, and gets me in the blogging mode is Valerie by Amy Winehouse, the Mark Ronson version. Here it is on youtube:

I know, I am late. But I have recently gotten hooked on the Amy Winehouse playlist on Pandora and this song always comes up. As well as Adele, and Lily Allen. So whenever you are feeling blah or need to get your mojo back, this playlist may make you feel worse but it may also make you feel soulful and inspired. Take a listen! -P.R.
