Last night was super fun, and it was very exciting to do something different and a little more low key than usual release events. This time for the Winter 2015 edition, we went for a monthly event that has been going on at Hat City Kitchen for over a year. The ValleyArts Artist Salon is where the locals can get together once a month. The creative community here can socialize among extended happy hour specials like half priced appetizers and $3 drafts.
This issue profiles and celebrates our community and it was only right. Mike Griot, and fellow Firehouse resident, Lara Gonzalez attended, the latter being featured in the issue. Along with Terry Boddie who has been busy curating the latest exhibit in the Firehouse Gallery, The Figurative Impulse. The gallery talk with the artists is this Saturday at 3pm.
