Volunteer with SWAG Project!

Here are two newly added Volunteer days with the SWAG Project in Newark, NJ!

Sunday, May 19th – Farm Work Day
Come out and help us weed, water and tidy up the (now sprouting!) farm before we launch our farmer’s market stand at the end of this month! Bring your own gloves, water bottle, sun block, and work clothes please. Fresh healthy snacks will be provided.

Friday, May 31st – Neighborhood Tree Planting! Time TBA.
We’ve teamed up with the NJ Tree Foundation to beautify the neighborhood. We’ll need lots of folks on hand to work in small teams of 3 to plant trees all around our block. I know that many people work Fridays, but if you could get one little afternoon off, come start the weekend early with us by planting something that will improve the environment for years to come!
